I don't have much experience with modern era or later era wars where I'm lagging behind in tech. I wonder how I should approach my troop compositions with the introduction of aircraft, artillery and nukes. In addition, how should I approach positioning my troops for upcoming wars.

In this case, I (as Carthage) am faced against an AI (Greece) that's 5 techs ahead of me and recently entered Atomic era and completed the Manhatten project. I haven't yet had a game with nukes so I'm curious how I would approach the upcoming wars where it's basically me verses this AI. In case this does matter, I went for Autocracy and Greece went Order. I don't know how I feel about the AI having a nuke and being at the mercy of it.

Thanks in advance for the help! I do want to proceed forward carefully since I know I can win wars if nukes weren't involved.

From my experience the AI won't typically nuke its own lands so it is to your advantage to DoW first and to move your troops into his lands quickly. If he DoWs you first and you have a bunch of troops clustered together within nuke range, say goodbye to those troops.

Thanks! Guess I have to go aggro first, though charging head first doesn't seem like a great idea facing AI that can outnumber me greatly.
