Mig 21 Fishbed / Chengdu J-7 Fishcan / F-7 Airguard
variant/ total delivered/ introduction date- retired
Fighter variants only, no recce or trainers. Tried to include most variants and operators. Take the numbers/ dates with a pinch of salt. Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Ukraine have stocks of Mig 21s but do not operate them.
Say, a humble request for a little addition for completion, pedantry, and soothing those among us who have OCD (like myself) for this magnificent collection, but any chance of adding alternate versions of the Congo-Brazzaville models with People's Republic of the Congo roundels (which my own attempts at, like the Tibetan flag, were quite sloppy) as well as the post-1992 roundel, as they used the former upon first arriving in that air force, and for several years after.

@Tanelorn Here's my last try at the roundel. I don't know, what do you think?

WIP of the expanded unit roster for "American Kingdoms II - The Second Round".
I took notice of the feedback from the crew here at SL and plan to make use of Lua's
special features and city building restrictions, to make this new version much more fun.

The Yakovlev 130 Mitten and the Alenia Aermacchi M346 Master trainers/ light fighters share the same airframe. The Master has been ordered and exported to Azerbaidjan, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Italy, Nigeria, Poland, Qatar, Singapore and Turkmenistan. The Mitten has been ordered and exported to Algeria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Laos, Myanmar, Russia and Vietnam. The Libyan order has been cancelled and the large Syrian order has apparently not been fulfilled.

The JL-10 advanced trainer was developed with Yakovlev's help and it shows. The most notable difference is that the (same) engine nacelles now extend all the way to the back. The PLAAF has more than 50 and the PLANAF about a dozen in service. The UAE have placed an order for up to 48 of the L-15 export variant, Zambia for 6 and Ethiopia is considering it as a replacement for its obsolete Mig 23s.

@CurtSibling These are so great! Would it be OK to use some of these for the scenario I am working on?

You cannot imagine how long I've yearned for modern cargo trucks.
