Saw there hasn't been a modpack for a while and thought I'd upload one.

Spoiler Installation :

  1. Download either the MP_MODPACK folder
  2. Right click Sid Meier's Civilization V on Steam and click Properties
  3. Go to LOCAL FILES
  4. Click BROWSE LOCAL FILES...
  5. Open Assets and then DLC
  6. Delete any old MP_MODPACK or ui_bc1 folders if they are there
  7. Place MP_MODPACK into the folder

is EE properly fixed with the changes in the thread? It's sad that Infixo is inactive ATM
 
How do i add Community Patch Events if Iam using your modpack and cannot add CPE to it. Can it be outside the modpack in its regular install location then activated (probably not because it needs requires VP files) . I added ENW, Tectonic Map Script, and am about to add R.E.D..

You can run a custom singleplayer game with your own mods activated in the MODS menu and the mods from the modpack will also be in the game.
Don't add mods to the mods folder in MP_MODPACK, they won't work.

I have events system enabled, however I keep getting the: "no good events, no neutral events, no bad events, no trade events, no civ specific events" game details/options checked/show up in my game after i load a save, even though i had them unchecked at the set up/game start. No events at all seem to work as well. I thought it was the "Community Events"(steam) mod i subscribed to, so i unabled it at the mod menu, and started a new game, but the problem persists. Compatibility problem with the modpack, load order or am i missing something? Other mods added are Techtonic Map Script and Enhanced Naval Warefare both steam.I went into the .modinfo with notepad ++ and deleted the dependencies lines to enable them in the steam game mods menu .Community Events doesn't seem to work. Do i have to unsubscribe to it, because it's having a effect regardless? I'll try it out. I passed on R.E.D. and ED to avoid problems mid late game.

You shouldn't have to unsubscribe to a mod, if it's not enabled it won't have an effect. Enhanced naval warfare has a few patches available but it doesn't look like it would be causing the setting issues. I'm not sure about the custom map, but I doubt it would cause any issues. Dependencies do help sort the order and I'm guessing removing them could cause some load errors, but I went ahead and added Enhanced Naval Warfare to the modpack anyways so if you just reinstall it you should be fine. I'm not sure what's causing it, but it's possible it could be in your log files if you want to look through/post those.
I've used the mods in a custom game along with Community Events and Events and Decisions and it works fine, so it's probably the modpack's fault. If you're only doing custom games I recommend just using your own mods instead of them and the modpack, it just seems easier. I have the mod list in the OP if you just want that.
 
So i installed the newer modpack, added Events and Decisions and Community Events, got to about turn 30ish got a popup event! Saved it, closed the game, reloaded the save, and the 5-6 "no events" game details show up (WTH), kept playing got a small event! Turn 60ish got another popup event! Nothing shows in the events button top right though. I played to turn 60ish with the old modpack and i got no events.

So i don't know whats up with the game details, must not matter or some events are disabled. One of the 3 sources of events are working at least. Having Enhanced Naval Warfare in the modpack or adding Events and Decisions, fixed something. (I havin't used a VP compatible one yet) or reinstalling the modpack.

Before also, with the older modpack, when i was having trouble above, I forgot to mention, when i first tried the modpack, that a city event icon at turn end, at the bottom right popped up, but when i clicked it nothing happened. I couldn't proceed. I switched to a steam version Community events mod and that's when nothing happened as far as events. Some other people have had the same/similar issue in comments in various forums, I think.

I might add all the mods, myself, no modpack, later, if i have further problems. There's no tweaks or compatibility fixes in the modpack, is there? Must not.

Glad it's working better, I've seen from a few people that complain of faulty installs, so maybe this was one of those.
I've had the issue you're talking about with the glitchy events, usually after I take a city state and then give it independence. The game lags for a moment and then an event that I can't click pops up. Just opening the menu and closing it or reloading the save seems to fix it for me, though.
There are quite a few patches in the modpack, I can think of the patch for Enhanced Naval Warfare, the Enlightenment Era, and Unique City-States, but I might be missing one or two. I would recommend at least skimming through the mods' threads to see if there is anything available. Thanks and have fun
 
Hey i noticed you are working on a unstable 9-25 SP version with more mods included. Really appreciate it man!!!

I haven't played for a little while but I'am at about turn 250 with Sumer. Kicking ass and having a blast. No problems that i can tell so far.

Looking forward to a new version after my playthrough!!! It really saves me alot of time especially with new mods and compatibility issues when I've not played for a long while.

Also, you can play with the unstable version, I have been and it works fine, some of the mods just aren't updated for the new version.
