Mods for mac?

I've now officially gone tired of the extremely huge amount of content mac users are allowed to play in civ... Just kidding, but I am tired of civ 5 now. And thats why I really want to install mods. I've heard people talking about the possibility of manually installing mods on mac, and I've seen people say that there is a guide to this on Civfanatics. Excuse me, but I really can't find it. I've been looking all over the mac forum, and read the mac faq thread. I really can't find it. Can someone please link me the page, and tell me where I can see it. Or if you're really nice you can explain to me how it works? I really see this as the only way to expand civ 's life by more than the week it takes to get tired of the one scenario and few, boring maps. Thank you!

Try taking a look at this thread: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=403917 It is for PerfectWorld 3 but applies to just about any mod or map. For Mods you usually just copy the whole folder into the MODS directory, for maps you usually need to unzip as shown in that thread.

I believe all or at least most mods should be compatible with mac now as well.
