Mods not working in multiplayer

hello everyone.
I recently downloaded a few mods for civ 7, just basic ones they all work fine.
However when I join a game with my friend on multiplier, my mods are not working.
I though it is because my friend does not have the mods, but for some reason my mods come back when we reach the exploration age.
Anyone knows how I could get them for antiquity age too ?

I got the impression that mods disrupt MP somehow. We (3 players) have been playing multi for a while and mods cause desync problem every time. We have to reload the game but then mods don't get loaded properly.

We play with mods on Civplayers, so long as all players have the same mods and versions things run well

Anyone knows how I could get them for antiquity age too ?
