Montreal meet, Mk II

Ah, come on Kan, I'm sure they can hustle up a passport for you.

At least I got arrested by real Mounties.

I didn't realise there were any left.

BTW... be careful with that ad Kan', the lead actor was arrested for posession of child porn. He's not a real scotsman anyway (as though the probably very inaccurate accent wasn't a dead giveaway).

Come on, Goon, if I can find my way to the Regal Hill, so can you...

A Kingston meet would make it more likely that me, RedWolf et al could join in... or this this just a ploy to keep the Toronto scum away?

Have fun in Blighty pboily.

It figures. No true Scotsman would ever be mixed up in something like child porn.

May 4th is doable for me. WHICH exit from Berri, though, as there's about a dozen!
Good point. I think the St-Denis exit is best, since it's just a block or two south of the restaurant. (Or are there multiple St-Denis exits? I don't often use Berri.)

Also, I'll be sure to buy some batteries for my better camera this time.

The restaurant, aye, but the metro exit is at the SW corner of Maisonneuve and St-Denis.

Sys sums it up well.

Kingston is a great midway point between Montreal and Toronto. The way I look at it is this: if it were held in Kingston, we could get both the Toronto and Montreal crowds together!

I agree with you, we should have a Kingston meet; but I want a Montreal meet before I go away for summer. Pure selfishness, that's all it is.

I think the next meet should be in Kingston, maybe in September? I'm probably going to be visiting my Queen's friends around then anyhow, so it would be good for me personally, and if we planned it ahead of time we could probably get most of the eastern Canadians to attend.

I would personally gladly make an extra 3 hours of driving to avoid spending an evening/night in Kingston. big cities are better suited for those kind of event imho.

If you ever want to do one in Ontario, make it Toronto.

Of course that's quite agreeable to me, but it's a pretty long haul for almost all of you to get here. Kingston is central to pretty much everyone, and don't kid yourself, there's some nice spots down by the lake/river.

But anyway, I'm too tied up the next couple of months so let's talk closer to September about that.

De Lorimier (?)

I was away for the weekend, now I'm back. That friday would also be a good choice for me. I'm working the 17 to 1am shift, but I'm pretty sure that, at worst, I'll be still working that day but from noon to 8pm wich would give me enough time to meet with you guys later on that night. I'll be there people, you'll get to see my big ugly face, don't you worry!

I'm also interesd in driving down to Kingston somewhere in september to meet the rest of the gang (minus those wackos from the West). ;) My parents own an ugly minivan. I smell a (albeit short) road trip!

I second that .... exept the baby-sitter!

We're still on for Friday at 7! I'll send out PMs with details tomorrow, or possibly Wednesday; but nothing has changed from what I posted earlier.

Make it Ottawa next time >.> Though the wife and I were thinking about moving to Montreal, my lack of French not withstanding.

I'm excited to see that Kingston in september is looking like a go!

Don't worry augurey! Kingston is close to Ottawa.
