This is a tiny mod, very tiny, it only does one thing; it slightly increases the frequency with which barb camps are being spawned.
There's no relationship with the "raging barbs" setting, as that only affects the amount of barbs spawned per camp. This mod just influences the amount of camps popping up.

The mod achieves this by affecting the setting "FogTilesPerBarbarianCamp" that can be found in the XML file called "CIV5Worlds".
This mod turns the numbers down a bit, so that less fogtiles are needed for a barb camp to spawn.
Each mapsize has its own number for fog tiles needed, and each number has been lowered slightly.

I'll give you the numbers as the CIV5Worlds file has them, and how the mod alters them:

Duel map 13 > 11
Tiny map 18 > 15
Small map 23 > 19
Standard map 27 > 23
Large map 30 > 27
Huge map 35 > 30

You'll see that the amount of fog tiles needed has only been turned down by a notch. I've tested stronger adjustments, but wasn't happy about those. What the game does by default is fine, making big changes leads to weird results.

What the mod intends to do is to give you a little bit more fun with barbs. Exaggerating their amounts becomes tedious quickly.

The game becomes easier with more barbs, as it increases your chances to retrieve workers from them. Influence with City States is easier gained as well. That's another reason why the tweak this mod makes is just a small one; bigger changes lead to balance problems, more so in the case of civs like Germany and Songhai, as you can imagine.

Having said that, if you want to go experimenting with different settings for your personal use, please go ahead. The file MoreCamps.XML contains the numbers. An XML file can be opened up with Notepad and you can adjust the numbers to your liking.

What I should probably say as well, I know there is a mod called "Real Barbarians". That mod works with a file called "CIV5HandicapInfos" and it does something quite different from this mod. You could even run the mods together if you would want.
I'm not expecting any compatibility problems with other mods. I haven't seen any other mod that has done something with this setting "FogTilesPerBarbarianCamp", but then I don't know many mods, so who knows.

I should thank PawelS for pointing me to a mistake with capitalization as I had in a beta version of the mod. I'm no modder, and then it's easy to go wrong with something like that.
