I beg to differ, seeing how Arathorn's SAW game was very crazy too...

Arathorn's SAW was awesome but his world was arid (which hindered the AI greatly) whereas Bamspeedy's Beyond Sid was pretty green, i.e. plenty of food around.

They are difficult to compare anyway. In any case, I'd say those two games and Sir Pleb's Going for Sid are the three greatest of all time, IMHO. A real pleasure to read any of them three.

Ha, i just got 2 consecutive leaders in cotm08 !

First time i ever had 2 in 1 turn actually.
The big difference is probably that normally i fight so ferociously and win early so that i don't get the amount of and battles that are normal in late game.
This game i had more than 5 elite battles every turn on average in the end and also had the heroic epic.
