Mouse cursor invisible w. Civ IV in Windows 7

I have just installed Civ IV on my new PC with Windows 7 (32bit). Windows are updated.
Civ IV seems to run OK, only I cannot see my cursor. When I move mouse left or right, the map moves left or right so it responses to mouse,only cursor invisible.
Can anyone help?

Problem solved by switching mouse trailing off.
