Movement and withdrawal

Is there a way I can tell units to only move so far as they can while still retaining a movement point, so as to be able to withdraw from combat? It's pretty tedious when moving cavalry all over the place to be checking that across several units each turn =/
 
Units do not require a remaining movement point in order to be able to withdraw from combat.
 
I would like a "Save a MovementPoint" option so that I don't accidentally finish a turn adjacent to some dude who's gonna bash my scout next turn - 'though it's not to big a deal for me really as Elves run away pretty good.
