MSN probles

I am having some serious problems getting MSN messenger to work. Every time I try to connect I getthis error code: 0x81000365. I ran the trouble shooter and it said that Zone Alarm is causing the problem. I've updated both pieces of software and configured ZA to allow MSN to get through. It never used to happen. I've even ran MSN without ZA active and it is still getting blocked. Any ideas?

I use this at home for IRC and at work for AIM/ICQ/MSN/Y! and it works pretty good. Occasionally I have problems connecting, but that's usually when the IMSP changes something. Then Trillian gets patched and everything's okay.

I'll echo the recommendation for Trillian. I use both Trillian and Zone Alarm with absolutely zero conflicts.

I've used MSN and ZA without conflicts. Does the error specifically mention ZA as the problem? Or just that a firewall may be causing the problem? I've had one about a firewall before and this is with me not running a firewall at all. Can't remember why I get it though.

I've been using Trillian for years, and it's no go either. It works ok at my home connection, but I've moved my computer temorarily to a network connection. A few people on the same network can get MSN going no bother. The MSN trouble shooter specifically says Zone Alarm
