Multi-player Gold Edtion Civ 2

Down loaded Civ 2 Multi-player Gold Edition and also tried installing the patches from Cedric Greene for conversion of Civ 2 to Civ 2 Multiplayer Gold. Still when I download scenarios from the civ fanatics page for Civ 2 gold they won't open . Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and better yet can you walk me through an example because I have tried everything and am still getting the phrase "Failed to load. Not a saved game" Thank you John Boc

The scenarios are usually in a zip-file, so make sure that you unzip them. If this isn't the problem, try taking the question to the technical support forum.

Are you trying "begin scenario" or "load a game" from the main menu?
