Hello all,
I have two old laptops that I don't use for anything, but they aren't quite old enough to throw away yet. I'm thinking about putting in 32 GB SSDs and installing lightweight Linux distros on them so that I can play Civilization IV on them. (The only thing that I would use these laptops for is Civ.) I read @damunzy 's 2009 guide on playing Civ through Wine, but I'm wondering if there have been any recent developments that might allow me to play multiplayer Civ on Linux. I'm pretty new to the realm of Linux gaming (although I have experience with both Linux and gaming), so I would appreciate any thoughts/comments/suggestions that anyone might have.
Merry Christmas!
