Among some of the problems I've had while playing a Pitboss multiplayer game of Civ IV with friends:
-My friend found the edge of the world in a Highlands map, and this apparently caused an OOS error, and weird numbers appeared beside our names in the score list. The desync caused that one friend to be turns behind the rest of us.
-Randomly, the game won't connect to the server, saying the connection timed out, but then on the 2nd attempt, the game will connect, only to lose the connection to PitBoss while in game, thus kicking me back out to the main menu anyway.
-RUNTIME errors. These occur randomly in-game, but also, often, when I click "Exit to main menu" from within a multiplayer game, or even "Exit" from the startup screen, I'll hear a computer sound, and in-game, it'll freeze, so I have to use CTRL ALT DELETE or Windows buttons to exit the game by force from outside it.
Any solutions you guys know of? Or theories as to why these happen?
