PS5 Controller's Uncontrollable Vibration

I was clearing Notifications; got to one about Augustus spying on me and me getting a bunch of influence. My controller started vibrating constantly. It only stopped for a moment when I was saving the game but started again right after. It finally stopped when I went back to the Main Menu, I did not have to exit game to stop it.

I reloaded an automated from 3 turns earlier, played thru again and could not duplicate the problem so I don't know if it was related to the Notifications or not. I've cleared dozens of those Influence Notifications with no problem in the past.
