Multiplayer Problems

Well.. Me and some friends are trying to play an Internet Game .. but the following thing occurs:

Are we all join the game, and waiting for it to start .. one of us dont make it all the way and get disconnected .. - one should think that it has somethink to do with firewalls and such.. but the thing is... that its a different player who are tossed out.. and no matter who of who host.. the same problem occurs.. a player gets disconnected every time .. and again .. a different one everytime ... We are 4 players... but as soon as we only play 3 .. we have no problems at all ..

Hope i described to problem in a way that is not to hard to understand ..

I think you're having the same problem as I am. Are you both behind the same router? I don't think civ likes that too much (2 people w/ the same ip that is). Check out my thread in this forum to see if your problem is similar...
