Hey

So i just bought Civ 4 gold to play with my friend who loves this game, and neither of us seem to be able to ever connect online. My game freezes when i attempt to make an online account, and he cannot get past the log in screen as well. Is there some simple solution to this?

Welcome to CFC!

My guess would be a firewall issue. Depending what you're using for security and where you're connecting from, there are various ways to fix it. If you're connecting from a public network (library, university, etc) there's a chance they've got the ports blocked and you simply can't.

Have you tried doing a direct IP connect to your friend? Might have more luck with that...
