I am playing a game, and I have over 25 bombers, that I want to attack a single city. Is it possible to give a single command to have all the bomber attack this city? Or do I have to instruct each bomber one at a time to attack?

I know pressing "J" with a stack of tanks will cause all of the tanks to attack the city until they are victorious or all destroy. I have not gotten this to work.

I have C3C with patch 1.20

Thanks

Turning off battle animations will save you a lot of time. However, this doesn't let you see what you're actually bombing. You still see the text messages, though.

Try and make it so that the bombers can attack without recentering the screen, also. This requires them to be somewhat close to the target. But if you do this, you can bomb quite rapidly with battle animations off.

All I can say is Civ 4? *Hopes*

Yes it would be useful to be able to do this, likewise with artillery. However I never, ever use the "stack attack" option with units, I prefer to have more control over who does what and when.

Mmm, 25 bombers bombing a single city..u must really hate them :)

anyway, i think where it could go wrong is where the dmg unit moves down the stack :)

either they are to lazy to do this..or the unit moving down stack with dmg works badly...

i think its lazyness :)

sometimes you just hate em so much that you destroy all improvements around each city, then take your 25 bombers and bomb each city down to size one, then walk away :king:

..did i just say that?
