My bts crash

Ive intalled civ IV and BTS and de 1.13 patch but i cant play becouse everytime y unse the single player option and want to play the game crash when the green bar is in the creating map part, and error message appears and sais the the civ IV program has eoncounter and error and must be shut down .
The same has happened to me with the fall from heaven mod, but i´v plaed civ IV and warlods explansion without problems

ok lets do this differently:
open my games\beyond the sword\civilizationIV.ini
set all items with log in their name to 1 and save the file.
start and crash a game
open my games\beyond the sword\logs\init.log
copy and paste the whole text into a reply to this post

I assume you tried installing the 3.13 patch.

your BtS patch failed, i.e. 3.13 only installed partially. This is not an uncommon thing. Note: the below is the 1000000000000th repost of something that works for Windows XP - the file paths *might* be different on Vista. Also this is based on an install using only CD versions of Civ4 and all its expansions...

If you do not have Warlords just omit those lines.

install the most recent version of DirectX 9c from Microsoft

then do the following for a clean reinstall:

Uninstall and Reinstall Civ4 Warlords BtS :

Try to follow this order when doing stuff:
Use Control panel to uninstall Beyond the Sword, then Warlords, then Vanilla
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\sid meier's civilization 4" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\warlords" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\beyond the sword" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\application data\my games\sid meier's civilization 4" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\application data\my games\warlords" manually
Delete "...\documents and settings\<username>\application data\my games\beyond the sword" manually
(note: application data is a hidden directory so you need to configure windows explorer to show hidden files, also these directories in application data are sometimes removed by the uninstall routine)
Delete "...\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8}" (Civ4)
Delete "...\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{3E4B349F-10B5-4586-9D99-489A90A8B228}" (Warlords)
Delete "...\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{32E4F0D2-C135-475E-A841-1D59A0D22989}" (BtS) (note: InstallShield Installation Information is a hidden directory so you need to configure windows explorer to show hidden files).
Install Vanilla, immediately patch it to 1.61 (download it fresh from here)
Install Warlords, immediately patch it to 2.08 (download it fresh from here)
Install Beyond the Sword, immediately patch to 3.13 (download it fresh from here).

I did all that you told me but it crush anyway. Could it be de fall from heaven mod? should i quit bts and play only warlords? or i post again another screenshot of about this build?

does it crash without fall from heaven?
what version number does it tell you now? The one that was 3.0.0.91 what is it now? If the patch was successful it should say 3.0.0.1.
