My Idea

Sorry Strider, seems I'm in "major pain in the ass" mode tonight, but....

I don't like the new proposal. I have no problem with the citizen managers/press officers, but I think the content manager function would be better served by the Judiciary outlined in the new Constitution/Code of Laws. And I really don't like the idea of having one person officially in charge of pfaffing with the constitution.

Like I said just a proposal... We can follow it were the 4 do all of it together or they do each job sepratly.

I think half of this is a great idea. The parts I don't like are the content manager and the constitution keeper.

The problem with the content manager is that our forums are huge. Nobody could be responsible for monitoring all of it. The mods have a special page they can access that shows posts that haven't been reviewed by a mod - the content manager would not have this advantage.

For the constitution keeper, I don't think it will be necessary. The Judiciary in the new constitution will handle enforcing the constitution. New rules must come from a mandate from the masses. There's no gain in funneling them through a single source. (I'm flattered that you thought of me for the position though :) )

That said, I like the idea of the citizen managers. Having a couple people dedicated to morale, retention and recruiting is a great idea.

It could be the governmental press-office though. After each election is done, the president announces who his press-officer and his deputy are.

Shaitan did you read my first idea?
