Ok. So it's my first Post in this Forum, and the reasons are simple. For such a great running series, this may be the most buggy game I've seen since... Kings Quest 7 (the whole Voodoo set-up in DOS, that was FUN).
Anyways.
My Error list:
1.) Game does not play with CD1 or CD2... HOWEVER it plays when CD1 and CD2 are each in a drive. This is JUST weird.
2.) No Wonder / Opening Movies... They are all horrble colored mish-mash of awful pixlation. Oddly, I seem to get Religion movies just fine.
3.) At the end of the Game (yes already beat it twice, owned for 2 days) during the victory screen where you can watch as world events unfold, there is no land mass/ocean, just black and cities and borders appear on that. Also, the 'speed' bar changes lengths when I move the slider.
4.) I get random "File: goofy characters" did not load errors. During game play. I think this might be sound, but do not know.

Intel P4 2.8ghz.
1gig of Ram.
GeForce 6800 GT
I play many games. Most recent was AoE3. No problems with that at all. Now overall Civ4 plays fine. BUT there are these annoying little problems that have cropped up that REALLY make me want a patch. I can only hope one is coming forthright.
