I've got a Myspace(link in sig), It's actually really good for keeping in touch with people you know, but may not see that often. It's also good for finding new bands, and music. Any local band worth theri salt has a Myspace, and so do a lot of larger bands.

MySpace has a lot of everybody on it. I'm not a defensless teenage girl so I don't have to worry about sexual predators.

There are sexual predators everywhere, MySpace isn't that big of a deal. I got it like a month and a half ago after succumbing to peer pressure 
. It's kind of funny but I hate the stupid "emoness" which was mentioned above. I don't know why but people with stupid random titles like "And I dance like the queen of eyesores" and "We named our children after towns" piss me off, don't know why but randomness makes me want to kill .
As far as I'm concerned, there are two types of MySpace people:
Group 1 - Normal kids who like seeing their friends pictures and other funny stuff
Group 2 - Stupid upper middle class white kids who like to think they're starving artists somehow and like to act artsy and crap and fail miserably
Wait, forgot the other two groups:
Group 3 - Sexual predators. Set your profile to private and don't befriend people you don't know.
Group 4 - Whores. So funny though! Men and women! Go to the business section and look at the group with the highest membership
