OK, now that we have the information from Firaxis about the great patch, and I have Trip's great idea of starting in 1936, I am going to continue this full swing.
Since there are 32 civilizations allowed now, I am going to have to make some updates to the civilizations list, unless I am mistaken and there can still be only 16 per game, but 32 overall to choose from?
I am going to place all cities that there were at the time, but resricted to the map size of course.
I think I may still start in 1939 though, just because there is not many ways of taking over cities without using culture or military, and Germany annexed a lot of countries without either.
Railroads are going to be removed, and replaced with suburbs. Roads are going to be renamed to Railroads, and they are going to have thier movepoints increased, yet I do not know by how much.
Unfortuneatly we still cannot change the starting year of the scenario, or the turn changes, so the scenario will have to start in 4000 BC, but we can use our imaginations on that.
I am looking for ideas that I can implement such as what units, resources, unit resource requirement, etc that you guys can offer.
Also, I am looking for help into what wonders, improvements, small wonders, etc that I should have.
I am using all Civ 2 graphics for the units because it is the only place that I can find enough WWII units to make this scenario as option filled as I can make it. I will gaurantee an update when I get better at 3D modeling, or when I get specific help from 3D Modelers to model the units I need to use.
