As most of you probably know, we recently conquered Rome, including the namesake city (and a good many others). The City Naming Office held a poll in advace for what to do with captured city in terms of its name. The poll was strongly in favor or renaming them from the registry, a process we've carried out since then. But it was also decided that in the cases of cities with wonders or former capitals they should not be renamed that way. I was originally going to do a poll specifically about them, but forgot. So now we're going to do landmark cities on a case by case basis. The first case is Rome.
So I'm holding a two day period to propose a new name for Rome. After that period a poll will be held, with the additional options of keeping Rome or using the next name on the list. The winner of the poll (or any run offs, if there are too many popular choices) will be the name used henseforth when refering to Rome.
I'd perfer it if names were Japanese, but this is up to the people, so anything really can be proposed. The proposal/discussion period lasts two days before the poll.
