Naming Map Features

Will you be able to name map features such as mountains and rivers and islands and such?

I haven't read anything about it. I doubt I would ever really use such a feature, so it doesn't much matter to me.

What's it for?

Well since I never played civ 4 all that much I reckon that it allows you customize the map a bit. I hope you can select multiple tiles to name-- if it's in the game of course.

Civ rev had this, i see no indication of it being in civ 5, but it would make a nice mod.

There should be hidden feature names, where a city built on a certain tile will have a certain name. Kind of like Rhyse and Fall of Civilization, but with one big map.
