Im going to be honest this will be my very first mod but I plan on being a great one just like everyone else. I dream big and thus my mod will be big when It eventually gets done. I have some ideas about what Im going to do with some Native Tribes but not all.

First let me say this is NOT going to have any European influence whatsoever. I plan on making this mod with only Native American Tribes. The time will take place before Colombus or Chinese whomever you want to state originally founded the States. Its going to be a map of the entire US parts of Canada and possibly parts of Mexico (will be way down the line before I get to very many of these Tribes.)

With that being said I need to know what Native American Tribes you would like to see in this MOD. Of course the bigger tribes are going to be the main Civs. (Cherokee for example) and the smaller Tribes are going to be the City States (Caddo for example)

And if your feeling really froggy let me know what UU UB UT etc you would like to see. I eventually want to add pretty much every major and most minor tribes to the mod but of course this will take a LONG time which is why Im asking for this help.

I am very much in Alpha phase and Ill be learning as I go. As you can read above this is my first mod and it probably wont be released for months, but I know what I want and will eventually get it. With everything I have planned I will be looking for help with this mod in every facet eventually. If anyone would like to help no matter how major or minor please let me know in any fashion that is convient for you.

05/25 I just thought I should clarify Im looking for advice for any Native Americans in Northern America. First release will probably actually only contain some from the Mississippi East. Then add more in future releases after that. So as of right now mainly looking for anything you would like to see that Historically mainly stayed east of the Mississippi (BTW thinking of making the Mississippi a landmark or whatever their called my mind is blank atm.) So please submit anything but a special thank you for what Im looking for right now.

I'd like The Sioux

Leader: Sitting Bull
UU: Brave replaces Horse Archer; extra movement point, cheaper to build
UB: Fire Circle; replaces monument, +2 faith
UA: Warriors of Little Bighorn, +50% comba bonus against echnologically advanced units
Taken down and noted, thank you William.

Obviously, the Iroquois, Aztecs, Mayans, and Incans.

There's also the Tupi.
Leader: Cunhambebe
UU1: Blackwood Archer (Replaces Archer, +2 :c5strength:)
UU2: Poison Dart Blower (Replaces Spearman, gains a ranged attack of 6, much more expensive)
UA: Power of Cannibalism (Units killed grant nearest Tupi city more food in growth bar)

Mesoamerica is already well represented, but Teotihuacan has to be at least a city-state, and the Olmec deserve a nod for being first.

Here's some for the United States and Canada...
Northwest: Salishan
Plateau/Great Basin: Shoshone, Ute, Blackfeet
California: Ohlone
Southwest: Navajo, Apache, Pueblo
Plains: Sioux
Northeast: Iroquois [obviously], Ojibwe (Chippewa)
Southeast: Cherokee, Choctaw, Creek

I'm sure Polar Bear with the All About the Inuit thread would have something to say about the northernmost Native Americans.

Mesoamerica is already well represented<------My thoughts exactly but its my fault I should of been more specific. Im trying to stay north of Mexico for the most part if I do any anyone it will be months down the line and thats if I even do. I wouldnt add any Canadian Indians but seeing as almost every northern tribe went into now Canada at some time during the year I have to keep at least the Southern portion of Canada. Ill explain my point a little better in OP. Thank you Dumanios for your input though I do appreciate it if you would like to see anything else implemented by all means let me know.

How about the Haida? They were a warlike, successful people from the Pacific Northwest. One of the things that distinguished them (to me) was that some of their warriors wore plate armor made of wood. They are also known for their distinctive art style and as the tribe that created totem poles. They've been described as "Indian Vikings of the northwest coast". (EDIT: The Haida still exist, but they are definitely less warlike. The way I wrote it suggested that they all died out or something, which isn't the case. Sorry, Haida people!)
So:
UU: Coast Raider (I don't know if you plan on remaking the tech tree, so this unit could basically be the Norwegian UU; an amphibious longswordsman who can pillage quickly)
UB: Totem Pole (seems a great fit for a monument replacement, gives bonus culture/faith?)
UA: Potlach - gold or culture bonus whenever you trade luxuries or strategic resources with another civilization (based on quantity of the trade, perhaps, but this still seems breakable). (a potlach is a gathering practiced by many northwestern tribes where goods would be given away and/or redistributed amongst the people)

Noted and written down, Thank you Bandersnathing

I'll second the Haida, btw.

Do you want the Mississippians (Mound Builders)?

Leader: Tuskaloosa

The rest is subject to some change. I'll do my best.

UU: Birdman or Falcon Warrior. I don't know exactly what, but faith from kills would make a lot of sense if you're going with Gods&Kings.
UB: Mounds
UA: ???

I'll try and give them some more thought.

Also, the Pueblos

Leader: Popé
UU:
UB: Kiva
UA:

Sorry I can't think of anything else.

I think the Seminoles would be another interesting choice, but I seem to have diminishing returns when I suggest these things. An ability to fight in Marshes and some kind of guerrilla tactics would be ideal.

Apache
Leader: Geronimo
Unique Building: Wikicup. replaces granary. costs 40 hammers as opposed to the granaries 60. requires no maintenance
Unique unit: Jicarilla musketmen. +2 combat strength. starts with shock promotion.
Unique ability: Mountain God. all resources produce +1 food.

Sorry If I'm reviving an old project, but I think a cool (possibly OP) UA for the cherokee to demonstrate their aptitude at assimilation would be:

The ability to build the UU and UB of civilizations with which you have DoF (and both you and them have researched the required tech).

What you think?
