the issue here is, i am not well experienced in character animation.. but anyhow, i can give it a try (without any promise - are there 3d models ready and just need to be rigged and animated? is there an instruction manual how to import // export models for civ4? (we use 3dsmax, btw)

Well, to at least partly answer your question: I think we need both - new 3D models for unique units and animations of existing 3D models.
I don't know about the import / export, sorry.

I could make some prettier versions of some of the old wonder videos, or some new ones etc. I was thinking graphic backgrounds with a bit of animation (clouds etc.)

Anyway, if there is any the mod team would like let me know, I'd be happy to help out on the team in this field. A bit of multimedia can really contribute to the atmosphere of a mod

If you want to chuck me a few to do I can have a go in my spare time

I have some other help, and I don't plan on getting started right away,
but we can start a C2C video group and start floating ideas.
I have spent a lot of time preparing for it.

Can anyone else who is comfortable or willing to make videos, please let me know!

I was thinking a movie trailer intro for C2C. with an extended clip highlighting features, the scope of what C2C is, and will be, and the depth of what has gone into it.
and why it is the future of Civ.

I would also like to start accumulating how-to's for the features, interviews with the different modders, love to have some old timers come back for cameos, like EldrinFal and Afforess.
We will probably have a webpage, youtube channel, etc. Been talking with MrAzure about it.

We could also explore a quick multi-player Let's Play rush through game for each new version to highlight new features.
Where we could limit it to 2 opposing sides, and stack it with the Modteam / experienced guest players to keep it quick.

I could also help you with the wonder videos a bit.

I have strong ideas on how to do the Epic promotional intro right, but want to extend what we could do.
Open to anything.

I was going to start discussing my plans/ideas in public soon. We can start a semi-official C2C videos group. I will start a thread soon.
Before I color your ideas with my own, what would you do?

Ooh that's pretty ambitious! Like a documentary almost! I think it's a cool idea but that might be a bit too big for me (I'm investing myself into the civics atm and some graphic icons.)

Ironically I'm actually a film director/producer in real life! Be sure to pm me if you need any help with software doing this or you get stuck on anything (I'm sure you already know exactly what your doing with all that though!)

Hi there,

this link doesn't seem to work anymore. Does anybody have a working link? I would love to have non-static wonder movies in my game.
