i was attempting to install civ 3 complete the other day, and it asked me to uninstall any previous versions of civ 3, so i attempted to uninstall civ 3 gold edition, and that was a failiure. i contacted 2kgames and they are of no help whatsoever (they switched people on me so now they think im trying to uninstall civ IV 
). so i decided i would just install it to a different directory than the atari spot where my civ 3 gold edition is installed. i popped in my disc, and began the setup like usual. then about 30% in, it completely stopped at one file, i cannot remember exactly what it was and im feeling too lazy to find out at the moment
but it just stays there. when i closed it it took me to its finish page where it states that there was an error installing x file. im not exactly sure what the problem here is, but i know that its not just taking a long time, because i literaly sat there for a half an hour watching it do nothing, while another game of roughly equal size installs in 2 minutes max. please help!!
