need help with fire tuner

ok Iam trying to add resources in game using the plopper but I am not sure what you press to place them I have selected my resource the quant and made sure to check the box to enable the plopper whats next ?

Left-click the tile to place the resource (it will replace any existing resource), right-click the tile just to remove any existing resource.
