Need Help

i have a serious problem with civ 4 that no one else has. i can get into the game and start up a game but as soon as i see a ingame movie the screen pixelates and causes me to reboot. i think its got something to do with direct x.

In the CivilizationIV.ini file, try turning off the movies option and see if that makes a difference to your crash.

; Set to 1 for no in-game movies
NoMovies = 1


PS: The above option also disables the game start movies/graphics.
