Need some help finishing a WMD mod

So tldr I made two more wmds one is basically just the ballistic missile from civ 5 and the other is just a bigger thermonuclear bomb
I'm just editing the xml files in base/gameplay/data for now
So far everything works as intended aside from launching them
I can get a bomber to drop them but I can't shoot them from missile silos
Is there an xml file in that folder where I can just copy and paste some of the code to give missile silos the ability to fire my missiles
Also is there any way to disable the unskipable animation that plays
I just want to disable it for the ballistic missile as I'll be using a load of them a turn and well the animation can be pretty lengthy

Hey did you ever figure this out? I was trying to create a similar mod and I'm running into the same issues. I want to use the animation for the submarine's normal missile strike for my ballistic missiles, but I dont know where in the code it assigns animations to the action of launching a nuke. I also havent tested anything yet so I dont know if it works, but if you could help I'd greatly appreciate it
