I'd like to see the ability to attack a city and kill the defenders, but not capture it... This would be good for allied wars or when I don't want the city, but I want to do an "Operation Iraqi Freedom" on them and not take the rep hit for razing.
if you didnt capture it couldnt they just rush a defender? do you mean let your ally take over the city cause cant you do that in the diplomacy screen?
There is an extra turn involved with the diplomacy screen.. plus the enemy can take back the city after it is unoccupied, if I give it to the ally on the same turn, then I use the unit that I attacked the city with.
you should be giving the option to occupy a city, do not raze it, do not captured just stay there, and you should also be given the option to free a city this will applay if you want to give back a city to a civ that you are helping and by doing this you get a reputation boost.
wonder what would happen if you occupy every city of the civ you were at war with, should you annex the civ or should you have them as a pupet nation where you can use those cities as if they were yours and even build their UU( I do like to dream)
