New Civ Board Game

New Civ boardgame? If you're referring to Eagle Games Sid Meier's Civilization then, yes, I have played it. It's not exactly new (2 years old) and it's not exactly good either. As I mentioned in another post: luck plays too much of a role. If you start in a good location, with good resources, and get some good roles -- you'll be hard to stop. Likewise, if you get a poor start and/or poor roles, you'll be put into a military build-up you can't hope to compete with.

Bottomline: Not bad but not good either. Wholly mediocre. Visit the link in my sig -- it's like an IMDB of boardgames.

I'm also interested (I saw it in a local mall store - btw it's very expencive - but they had no opened one so I'm still curious how it looks like, couse you can not tell much from pics on cover box ). The sales man told me that the map (or maybe recourses on it) are always changable how's that?

@volstag - Can you rated in comparance with (best...I mean..) STRATEGO.
