Fort Buckingham retaken!
After three of our most veteran war bands sacrificed themselves in taking down the English stockade, bands of Iroquois teenagers overwhelmed and slaughtered dozens of horsemen and arquebusiers as they slept in the 'fort'. Hundreds of English scalps dry in the summer sun at the Great Lodge, the fort is well garrisoned, and the road to it which has caused us so much trouble has been pillaged. We await the arrival of the chief James' new troops, as our capital could do with further decoration.
British highlanders and militiamen on patrol are ambushed, with the doomed fort in the background.
An unsatisfied Englishwoman begs an Iroquois warrior for his superior seed. She would not be so fortunate.
Meanwhile, peace is desired with the benevolent French, and the charter handing over three villages is presented forthwith to their great chief Louis:
