Hi, I am a new member, so pardon me if I am green.

I love Conquests and am currently playing the celts on Monarch with success.
This is what I am wondering about:
What is the yellow sun that appears in the icon box? I can,t find it anywhere
in the manual.
Why do the civil engineers only work in some cities?
Are you only awarded one GA per game?

That shows that global warming has started. It basically just pops up when you build Hostpitals/Factories.

I'm not sure on this, but for some reason I think that your city has to be size 6 before you can use them. Edit: Ah, look to Halycon's response

Yep, you can only have 1 GA per game.

The yellow sun is a global warming meter. So long as it's yellow, you're fine. It'll go redder as it heats up. Then the fun happens.

Civil engineers only work when that city is building a city improvement or wonder. If it's building a unit, nothing'll happen. Good for building courthouses and temples in distant cities, or boosting a wonder build.

Yeah, only one golden age, so make the most of it.

IIRC is short for "If I Recall Correctly".
