New headset/microphone

The microphone on my PC161s died after I guess after it was knocked off my desk for the third time in 2 days a month ago (I had them for 11 months) and I just can't decide on another headset to get, since I don't want to shell out money for something that is not correct.

I'm willing to spend around $100 CANADIAN on them.

I'm tempted by the Sennheiser 350s but they are $200 and apparently don't seem to have bass (although I have no idea how they compare to my 161s).

Alternatively I was considering getting a good quality mic I can clip on or tap to my headset.

For $100 or less there is only one model really worth considering, Sony MDR V-6.

Just be sure you don't wind up with a V-600 by mistake.

Those look nice except for the lack of a microphone which is the only reason I am looking for a new headset.

I'm actually looking for one as well. It doesn't need to be excellent quality, but I late those leatherette coverings.

I managed to get my microphone working again, so I don't need a new headset (good thing I didn't blow my money on one then!)
