New medieval sets...

Not sure where number of polygons is displayed in Blender, but here you can read other numbers (eg faces, also vertices) and have a closer look at my model of the Hagia Sophia with most faces showing:

And an in-game pic of the set, in civIII ;)

I do - though i don't actually use it. And i wasn't suggesting that you pay me :)

I was just noting that it may take a while.
That said, yesterday i did some first work on a west medieval euro, but it isn't yet presentable...

Hi, trying hard no to thread-jack, but which african cities do you have?
I'm making a mod which has African as a culture group.

I don't have any. I doubt i will be making any either - the usual problem with civs that don't have very monumental architecture; eg the celtic set was very problematic already... :)

There are various North African cities though of course, but these fit into the broader middle east style I guess.

It's a problem for me too. I also need African cities and am having to use older stuff which isn't anywhere near as nice looking.

I will make some of my models available for free, in the following address: (the files will have .blend and .3ds form*)

https://gumroad.com/byzantinemaker

Currently there is only the Holy Apostles byzantine church (the one in Thessaloniki), which isn't free, but in the future i will upload a few free ones ;)

*those are 3d files, ie you need a 3d modelling program (blender, 3dsmax, Maya etc) to open them.

Are you also making an africa mod?

Anyway, some wip of the medieval western euro. Apart from the Donjon (french fort/castle centerpiece) which i half-decently modelled, the rest of the stuff in this set are really very poorly "modelled" and mostly faked, but in this size it possibly won't matter ;)
