New Nvidia Driver Released 10/18/10

For anyone interested there is a new Driver for Nvidia Cards.

There is no mention of Civilization V in the notes, and I myself am just downloading and am unaware of any added performance for the game due to the new drivers.

I installed them and noticed something different, but not really better or much worse.

When I switched camera to another part of the world, the terrain took some time to render properly. Before the nvidia new drivers I started seeing the terrain bad, and it turned better. Now it starts beeing just a grey screenfragment and then turns into the map. Might be that it is like 0.2 sec faster, can't tell for sure. Maybe it's just it's a new game instead of an advanced one.

Been running the Beta 260.89 with good success. I wonder if the WHQL version is different than the Beta? Other than the WHQL of course.

If your running SLI they also released a new SLI profile that includes CiV. Can't say that I've seen any real difference in performance though.
