New Player

I've heard of demogames before but I've never taken the time to participate. But I would really like to participate in the upcoming one with the new version of Civ and all. The only thing is, I don't know what I should do to join the game. Could somone please point me in the right direction? I look forward to playing in the first Civ 4 demogame!
