The patch name only shows up in the Readme.rtf file. It installs in the same folder as 032, and the display name in-game will remain 032

No, nothing wrong. The patch doesn't seem to show if i remember correctly. (also bugged me a bit sometimes.)

regarding the media-pack: Yes i belive the one for 0.31. is the media pack for 0.32. as well and will be patched from now on if i remember rightly instead of needing redownload with every version. (I don't know if the media-pack is really worth it though. The game is really neat without it allready and the download is rather big.

I thought Kael said he rearranged some of the songs and included what he wanted to include within the main 0.32 file so consequently there will be no MUSIC in a media pack. But IIRC there will be a MOVIE media pack coming.

Wouldn't it be possible just to copy the "longer" movies from .31 media pack into the right folders. The same files are there, just symbolic short ones.

Yes, if you copy the movies folder from .31 over to .32 you will be covered quite nicely. You should only ever need a new media pack if they add new wonders, and Hex (or someone else) makes an elongated movie for it.

I liked the separated pack better... an ocean of distance makes the download slower.
