How can you put a steam powered unit before the discovery of steam power??

The steam engine was invented by the ancient greeks, just no one found a good use for it untill the industrial age (though it was the developments in the field of metalurgy caused by the wide-spread use of cannons that made real steam engines possible).

Aglo, this unit is superb! exelent work. I'd love to see what you could make of a mech... (perhaps a steam mech!)

The back wheels also look closer to the main body, so that's also good.

Thanks to mtrn, the death looks that way (he suggested something like that IIRC).

And yes, the rear wheels are much closer to the 'shield'.

Vuldacon is usually right on top of that subject. Maybe he hasn't found some yet. Right now it uses sounds from original Civ3 units.
