New unit preview: Flammenwerfer (german flamethrower)

Here is a little preview of one of the units I'm working on. My very special thanks to nonnob3 and SpencerH, who did the default artwork (Waffen SS and FireGalley). I only redone and make this flamethrower. Why isn't it a all civs flamethrower, instead of a German flammenwerfer? The reason is because I'm a member, and co-creator of the Third Reich Team, and I like specially German WW2 units .

Another view: the E direction. Nonnob3 did a great work in this WW2 German soldier, and the flame made by SpencerH is just awesome!

I must admit I never thought I'd see the day when a fellow from Barcelona would have a Stuka as his avatar. Something like a resident of Coventry doing the same with an He111, wouldn't you say?

Cool unit though. Nice work. Can you make it so the victim burns?

Great looking unit. I can't get flames to work myself... And I don't mind at all it being a German specific unit... I'll probably use it for everyone anyway, just have to pay more attention before you attack it

Nope, It's impossible, because if you want the victim burns, you have to modify ALL the death animations of ALL the units, indifferently if the attacker has a flamethrower or not...Only I can do is make a "different" death animation for the flammenwerfer (work in progress ).

This Summer, when I'll have some time, I'll work in an all civ flamethrower, a modification of the CivIII marine (If somebody doesn't do that before me ).

I agree with Philippe I would also prefer him to spray the flame instead of a straight line also if you need more pics I just found a page with about 5 pictures here

Someone has alredy created a Flame Thrower using the paratrooper. But I am sure this will be MUCH better looking!

Hi, nonnob3!!The flammenwerfer is stopped (at the moment). but I promise that I'll finish it. Wednesday I'll finish the last exam!!!.
For Civ3, I'm doing a 3D model of the Stug IV tank killer. But I think I'll stop completely the He-111...I don't know what to do. But i like 3D modelling!!!I have in mind several projects....jut wait

For the stats...a very high attack power (flamethrowers can knock out Tanks, bunkers..etc), but a very weak defense (a single shoot in the fuel depot and...KABOOM). For the movement, 1. The low defense requires another unit escort (for example nonnob3's Waffen SS).
