Thanks, i was thinking of not posting more previews until i finish it. The Uniform is taken from the one used in the Napoleonic Wars and The Crimean War. I took it mostly from the book and the movie War and Peace, from Tolstoi
But anyways, i am going to change it more, so it doesnt look like the Japanese Imperial so much

I can assure you it's not a napoleonic uniform. You are correct about the crimea war though. So call it a late Russian Imperial uniform and it will be ok.

Your unit will be nice to replace the rifleman for Russian. But we still need someone to do the Russian replacement for the Napoleonic flintlock unit (I think it was from Smoking Mirror?)

You should do it, W.i.n.t.e.r, all your infantry units are fantastic. You're doing WWI-WWII era infantry units anyways. Go for it.

errr- well next two units should be the WWI Turkish and Russian Infantry (before I want to do the French and Italian WWII ones tho)- which reminds me I still need to PM spincrus for requesting the recording of his voice...


I you want to make a unit of this particular time (i.e. Crimean War) you rather ought to take a Rifleman, make the trousers light brown and give it boots and a flat cap.

I was about to ask you if you planned on an Ottoman WWI infantry, I cannot wait! Ehh.. another Italian WWII unit? Will this one have a tan uniform?
