New vid card VS More Ram ???

k well I have 512mb oh ram and Im running a GeForce4 mx440

I dont have the game yet will have Friday and I want to upgrade alittle whether my system will run it or not most likely it will run fine but I would like to maybe increase the performance alittle bit and make the game run better so Im wondering what would be better to upgrade to a GeForce FX5200 or to simply buy more ram I would like to upgrade to 1gig but im not sure if that would be expensive so maybe only upgrade to 720mb?? any advice would be greatly apreciated. thanks in advance

fx5200 is not any faster. ram is cheap. buy radeon 9600 if you can.

I believe that card will give you some black-texture problems. As Comraddict says, Ram is cheap (about $US 50 / 512 MB I think). If you can get a decent (although budget) card (such as a nVidia 6600 GT or 6800) and a bit of ram, then it will help. What CPU do you have?

I kinda want to stick with GeForce if Im gonna buy a new card never had any problems with them and from whats being said around here there are alot of problems with ATI cards so I want to avoid them.

after doing some searching around I have found a FX 6200 for a good price is this a good performing card. Also found a ATI radeon 9250 is that one any good?
