What are some ways to get the unhappy people to stop feeling that it's too crowded in my cities? Also, I'm at about 660 A.D. and my cities still seem small. I think I read somewhere that the game ends at 2050 A.D., is that true? Thank you for your help. Loving the game so far!

I had that same question. My guess is to just keep adding culture improvements so that the city's culture influence spreads, thus providing more room. That's a complete guess, though.

Hook-up or trade for some luxury resources - that's the easiest! You can also use things like temples to help with happiness (some improvements offer increased happiness per 10% incremental on the culture slider).

One good option is to click the "Prevent Growth" button on the in-city screen (bottom right - looks like a coin?) when the number of happy people = number of unhappy people.

I got a question then about the time. How do people build up these huge looking cities in that amount of time? And also, what's the difference between a normal and epic game? Is there a difference in length?

And if anyone knows answers about getting citizens to feel less crowded in the cities, I would appreciate it also.

That doesn't affect happiness directly. You're best to constrain growth, or build cultural improvements that give happiness once you've increased the cultural slider (you need to research the tech that allows you to adjust the slider though).

Also, the time scale slows down as the game progresses. That is, when you start a turn is 20 years; by 0 it's down to 10 years, by 1000 it's 5, and by 2000 each turn is one year. My numbers may be off because I just made them up, but they're close, and you should get an idea of what I'm talking about. So even though you're at 660, you have a fair bit of time left.
