Question, if not too late, what if you controlled the Apostolic Palace, and brought a resolution to 'stop the war against the "Human" player', (Insert your name as Human), NB: if your subhuman, this option won't work 
would you get the 10 turns peace, and could you, if more than 1 civ has Apostolic religion, vote for a 'Declare war on "AI CIV -X" ' would that force the Apostolic religion civ's into war till they could talk once again to each other.
This could be MAJORLY abused for your own advantages.
Though if you lost control of the Apostolic Palace, you'll forever suffer a run of 'Return city X to Civ 1' or other such rubbish. Defy resolutions for
