Please Note: Players will be aware that staff have tools for analysing games and are diligent in the process of checking for unwanted behaviour. One of various metrics that we use is reload count, which we view in conjunction with other data to make a judgement on the "safety" of a save game. As a guide, players should aim to play at least 10 turns in a session For shorter games more turns per session is appropriate, and for longer games, fewer turns. In future, games that are submitted where reload count is significantly low, and other data supports the action, I will PM the owner of the save game and explain to that player why that particular save game has been removed from the results data.

840 AD Diplomatic Victory with Hittites at Demigod, no pre-selected rivals... this is such an achievement.

Congratulations.

And I have a question - note that this has nothing to do with this particular game in any way - but, can you people of the staff knows if someone uses that software in which allows you to cheat?
I don't remember the name, but it's some software in which you can finish research, buildings etc with just a click.

Only for curiosity I wish to know the answer.

As a matter of policy the staff do not publish what we are able or unable to discover from save games. Leaving some doubt discourages those are that way inclined from developing strategies to circumvent the protection.

However, in this case it is public knowledge that we can easily detect the use of such software.

...future, games that are submitted where reload count is significantly low...

shouldn´t it be just the other way around?

not that i would worry, but my reload count used to be extremely low, as i sometimes kept the game open from start to end... i hardly use the civ-Laptop for anything else, and thus my playing times read quite funny, because i hardly ever reload the game at all - because it is always running. only my Laptop loves to restart every now and then for an installation of something, that is just all that could be counted.

anyway, it seems we should check on those who reload heavily, not?

Nice! I'm very happy to have gotten a bronze medal for third place. I think I will start posting some screenshots of my games in the forums again. The latest one was really fun!
