Next Patch?

So I thought the June patch was a two parter and the next would follow soon after, which I assumed was July/August time frame. But here we are close to the 2nd week of august and no new patch notes seem to have been posted. Is the 2nd part of the patch coming or have the devs given up and moved on?

The last patch we got was the second part of the two part patch. The first part was mainly an AI patch from around March time

As we have new DLCs coming (Korea and World Wonders I think) there will no doubt be a new patch soon.

we got korea being announced next week hopefully. It will include new patch updates as well.

Maybe august-september. I wish they spent more time on it. Replay and hotseat didn't live up to the hype. Fix them + other additions\balance.

I'm glad they are able to keep us from being upset over the fact they keep having to patch up the game by providing us with some DLC to keep our spirits high.

We got a pretty huge patch about a month ago. There might be a minor patch for the DLCs, but I wouldn't expect another major one until after summer, at the earliest.

Don't expect any more major patches: only tweaks. I believe they will incorporate any game changes into an upcoming expansion. I think they are overall happy that the game in its vanilla form is complete.

Dec/Jan~ish for the USA. (at least in the east coast, I know in the west weather is good but they consider it winter time around dec/jan as well.)

I think we had a much smaller patch than the June one shortly after it was released.

And afterwards there was also a hotfix

A new patch could contain quite a lot of AI improvement as the last major AI patch was in april. But I agree that it might not be any really large patch before an expansion but then again I am not sure that they actually are close to completing an expansion. THe plan was prob initailly to release one this christmas but with the quite extensive work on patches and the DLCs I dont think that it will happen until perhaps next summer

I'm sure this news is going to make some of you ask about a potential patch. There is a patch coming. It is not necessarily releasing before this DLC, but I am getting the current patch notes together for you and I'll post a separate thread as soon as I have the info. Please don't use this thread to ask about the patch.
