Nintendo to start producing mobile and tablet games

I've read suggestions they partnered with DENA to use their networking and experience in the mobile market, but who knows how good the games will actually be. Hopefully they make stuff worth playing and not typical mobile fare. You can already play tonnes of ROMs on phones through emulators anyway.

I'm actually kind of disheartened that they said we're not going to port any games. A lot of games have simple enough controls they would port fine, NES was only a two button controller.

Ooh, just noticed that this announcement also included the unthinkable, official Nintendo games on PC. Although as it's part of the same project as the mobile stuff I guess it might just be ports of small mobile games.
