No AI

Hi,


I've been playing civIV bts since it came out and I've noticed that there are no AI opponents anywhere near me. I have half a continent to myself normally. I play on a standard map continents.

I only played Vanilla for about 2 weeks before I got bts so I'm not sure if this is a bts problem or a civIV problem.

A good idea would be to create a "Custom Game" instead of the quick start, and add a few more AIs to the mix manually. On standard continents, there are typically two continents (one in the east and one in the west), with 3 players each, although you will see instances of 4 and 2. However, if you go into the Custom Game, you can put an average of 4 or 5 civs per continent.

If you're on a small continent, you may be isolated.

The maps also seem bigger in BtS than in previous versions of the game--I always add a few extra Civs to crowd it up a little.
